Your decisions stay yours.

PollXO is a private decision companion. There are no accounts, no backend of ours, and no tracking — your polls live only on your device.

Privacy at a glance⌄

PollXO does not collect your personal data. We have no server, no account system, and no analytics. Everything you create stays on your phone.

A poll is simply a question plus a few options that you resolve yourself. PollXO gives you several ways to reach a verdict — a weighted Decision Matrix, Pros & Cons, Quick Rank, a Lucky Roll, and an optional AI Panel. Every one of these except the AI Panel runs fully offline.

You can use the entire app without ever creating an account, entering an email, or connecting to the internet.

What stays on your device⌄

All of your content is stored locally on your device and never leaves it, except for the optional AI Panel described below:

  • Your polls & verdicts: saved as a single local file in the app's private storage.
  • Your settings: such as your chosen AI model and whether AI mode is on.
  • A daily usage counter: a simple local count so the app can apply the 10-per-day AI limit. It resets at midnight and never leaves the device.

Because this data lives only on your phone, we cannot see it, back it up, or recover it. Deleting the app removes it entirely.

The optional AI Panel⌄

The AI Panel is off by default and only works if you choose to turn it on by adding your own OpenAI API key.

  • You bring the key. There is no key built into PollXO. You paste your own OpenAI key in Settings, and it is stored securely in the iOS Keychain — never in plain storage and never sent to us.
  • The call goes directly to OpenAI. When you resolve a poll in AI mode, your device contacts OpenAI's API directly. PollXO has no server in between.
  • Only the question and options are sent. Nothing else from the app — no other polls, no settings, no identifiers — is included in that request.

Anything you send in AI mode is handled by OpenAI under OpenAI's own privacy policy and terms. If you would rather share nothing externally, simply use one of the four offline modes.

What we never do⌄
  • We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.
  • We use no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
  • We have no user accounts and no way to connect a poll to a person.
  • The offline decision modes make zero network calls.

The only outbound network request PollXO ever makes is the OpenAI call you initiate yourself in AI mode.

Your controls & rights⌄
  • Delete everything: use Delete all data in Settings to clear your polls and preferences at any time.
  • Remove your key: clear your OpenAI key from Settings to stop all AI requests instantly.
  • Uninstall: removing the app deletes all locally stored data from your device.

Since we hold none of your data, there is nothing on our side to request, export, or erase — you are always in full control on the device.
